Edward Zhigulev (Africa) was born in Moscow (Russia) Dec. 16, 1971, began as windsurfer in 1997 and once decided to leave Russia to catch the best wind and wave. He traveled a lot around the whole word and once in 2001 discovered kitesurfing. With a strong background in snowbording, surfing and windsurfing, he soon became the best Russian kitesurf wave rider in the world. He's often invited as a judge on Russian and international kite-, surf- and windsurf - competitions.

Now he is living on one of the best wave-spot in Vietnam, where he amazes everybody with his possibility to ride regardless of wind velocity. Sometimes it seems that after many years he try to catch this wind all around the world - now the wind comes here specially for him.
